“The Girl grabs you and doesn’t let go!”

A story that entraps you and takes you into the life the author experienced. You feel what she lived. You will personally know the characters by their extensive details. It is evident that the love of the creator of the universe turned the writer’s life into a testimony of faith, hope, and truth. The message of this book is: “For God nothing is impossible “. He is  the only one who can turn our mourning into dancing.

“Extraordinary,  and Impactful!

This is how I can describe this book.”   It is practically a story to take to the screen of any cinema. I was very struck by the title (The Girl with a Low-Cut Dress) and I asked myself, what is this book about?  It was mostly out of curiosity, how the title fit with the content. When I started reading my first impression was wow; as I read each page I was more interested in what I would find. There was no way to stop reading it. Every situation in each chapter gave me more desire to know how it was going to end. I admire the writer exposing  everything that happened in her life without omitting or adding anything, it took a lot of courage on her part. Something that also caught my attention is how God helped her in everything she experienced.

Very well exposed, organized, a unique style of expressing your feelings and testimony with transparency. Very easy to understand, I recommend this book, I am sure it will bring a lot of hope to the one who reads it.

“THANK YOU GLORIA RESTOY: RESTORATION IS REAL”

I highly recommend this book because you can experience how the author goes from being a rejected and deceived child, to being transformed into a woman with the ability to forgive, have mercy, be brave to survive adversity just by trusting and surrendering to the love of God. It is an example of perseverance and desire to see God’s purpose for her and not settle for less. For me as a Cuban, I was also impacted by the way she explains the history of our country through her own history.  I highly recommend it.

“If Gloria could resist it others can also achieve it”

I am not much of a reader, but when I began reading this book  I could not put it down. It was about finding ways to take the time to continue in the story until I found that end that would bring victory, and eternal happiness.  The author uses words and style, which create an emotional impact.  Every detail transports you to the past, witnessing her life events. I felt as if I had been sitting next to her, feeling what she felt, and suffering what she suffered.   In My opinion, the book makes the reader realize that it does not matter everything that has been done to us, everything that life has thrown at us, everything negative, difficult and incredible; God is always with us. In the final chapters we read the impossible that God made possible in the life of the author, especially the relationship of mother and daughter which was redeemed by love.   I thank you Gloria for opening your heart and sharing your story in such a vulnerable way.  I know that many will identify and be blessed. I am looking forward to the next book.   God bless you always. Henry Paul

The Girl with the Low-cut Dress is a fascinating book”

The author has taken me to very deep places in my own life. It is a literary work that immerses the reader in different life experiences, including pain, shame, and so many different situations that the author lived. I did not want to put the book aside for a minute!!!! In these times where technology is so advanced with YouTube, Netflix and so many video providers as an entertainment medium, having this book in my hands has been a very captivating experience. The power of love manifested in all its splendor. Every minute I have spent reading this book has been food for my soul, leaving me full of hope!!!   Thank you Gloria, for opening your heart and sharing this beautiful treasure with us.

Rain of Stars !!!

The Girl with the Low-cut Dress  is a fascinating story. We  enter a world like a silent walker knowing a family, a city, a country and how they struggled to find true unconditional love.  It made me cry and even deep in my heart, I shuddered. I didn’t want to stop reading so I could understand how a  woman could grow and succeed in the midst of so much pain and heartbreak.  It filled my heart with compassion; I wanted to meet her so I could hug her. I synchronized with her pain .This book gives us true revelation of our walk with God, which each of us has, as well as the transformation of our lives. Super blessed to have read it at this stage of my life. I wish many people could read it so that it would impact their lives, just like it did mine.

Trapped to the End!

Thank you for the deference; it is an honor to have read your book before publishing it and even more to give you my opinion.

From the beginning I was captivated; I could not let it go even in the middle of busy days and short nights. This is a story where the pain of lack, excess, lies, control, and ambition among others, attacks all its characters. It also walks you through the history of Cuba and the experiences of those who flee the political system with all its consequences.  Her story was so unique, even though she looked and felt like a victim. Amazingly she was able to come out and overcame the harshest circumstances.  I was captivated by how the Love of God impregnated her spirit despite feelings of not being deserving of anything, confirming once again that it is not deserved; it is not for our works that he loves us and welcomes us. He was patient waiting as she was hoping that one day she could hold his hand and say  It’s you and me now,” recognizing that he  was the only one who loved her even in her darkest days.  Long lines but with an enigmatic variety within the framework of Respect! YOU HAVE TO READ IT!!
